Biosphere Reserve Beach Clean 2010 + Photos
Originial Entry:
Hey guys,
Paddle4Relief will be tackling beach litter head on at this years Big Beach Clean, organised by The Biosphere Reserve. You may have seen the picture in this weeks Journal!
We will be getting down and dirty at Saunton Sands, Saturday 20th March. We will meet in the car park at around 10am, and we'd love for you to join! Many hands make lighter work, so if you can spare even an hour of your time to help take positive action against this huge problem we have on our much loved coastline, please get in contact.
Beach litter is a huge problem as we all know, its something that bugs us all. Unsafe, unsightly and hugely destructive to marine life, lets make an impact before the holiday season begins. Hopefully our actions will inspire others to take their rubbish home with them and leave our playground clean and safe.
The weather seems to be on our side right now, and its something the whole family can get involved in (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult!). Your help is needed! So for a great day out with some fantastic people and to show how proud we are of our beaches, please get in touch. You can contact me by replying to this mail or by text/telephone with the number provided below.
Hope to hear from you soon!
